FitzMartin is looking to hire a talented production artist to join our creative team. This position will involve a number of responsibilities and play a major role in the quality of the work our agency produces. If you thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative and creative environment, we’d love to see your portfolio. Here’s what we’re looking for:
You love design. You have in-depth knowledge of the principles of design because you have a formal education in the subject, including layout, typography, color, balance, composition, photography and current trends. You may even obsess over things like type. It’s a personality thing and we applaud you for it.
You have expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator required. Particularly Photoshop. This is kind of non-negotiable.
We work on a number of things simultaneously, so you'll need to be organized with the ability to multi-task. ADD isn’t necessary, but many our best people seem to have it and it seems helpful. (That’s a joke, but only barely.)
Our office is highly collaborative, so you need to be able to take direction, as well as conceptualize and design projects on your own.
It’s our job to make our clients look great and their businesses more effective, so you need to consistently apply and enforce style/brand guidelines as they relate to each client.
You’ll be responsible for final art files on most projects, so you’ll have to be familiar with production requirements and working with outside vendors such as printers, front-end developers, etc.
Web design skills are critical; Wordpress experience is important. Be prepared to demonstrate your abilities.
Deadlines are inherent in our business, so you have to be comfortable working on a tight schedule.
Collaboration is a defining aspect of our agency, so you’ll need to be team player.
If you have experience with Premier and After Effects, that’s a plus.
This is a great opportunity for the right person. FitzMartin is a 24-year old agency with an established reputation and some great clients. If this sounds like you, contact our creative director and let's talk:
