Sales and marketing will never find success and drive growth within a company if they are working in silos. For sales or marketing to be successful, they must first be aligned. Companies often waste much time trying to figure out how to align these groups when the answer is relatively simple: align around the customer.
If sales and marketing both keep their focus on the customer and the customer's needs, they will naturally come together, drive growth and increase revenue.
